Tell us a little bit about your military career.
I have had the pleasure performing in great adventures on both sides of the fence when it comes to military vs. the civilian world. I joined the U. S. Army National Guard at the age of 30 years old and I have enjoyed this great journey so far. It has afforded me with great opportunities, long-lasting friendships and sisterhood, and a great life long partner. However, when I did join this great organization, it was no "walk in the park." But nevertheless, God had a greater purpose for my life. And it has truly enriched me.
